FAQs

There are just a few essentials:
I require a free initial Meet & Greet with all dogs before beginning our walks.
Your dog should be vaccinated, wormed, and treated for fleas and ticks.
It's important that your dog is microchipped.
Your dog must wear a collar with a tag that includes your contact details.
Please provide me with your emergency contact information and any special instructions.

I cover a range of areas including Aldershot, Church Crookham, Crondall, Dogmersfield, Ewshot, Farnborough, Farnham, Fleet, Hartley Wintney, Hook, and Odiham. If your area isn't listed, please don't hesitate to send me a message to discuss possible arrangements.
-
Not at all. Typically, clients provide me with a key to their property, enabling me to collect and return your dog(s) when you're not home. Some clients opt for leaving their key in a combination lock box. Rest assured, any keys in my possession are stored securely and are only used for your dog's walks. To ensure privacy and security, keys are labeled solely with your dog's name.

Whilst I aim to maintain consistency in scheduling, I appreciate your understanding for a 15-minute window before or after the planned time to accommodate unforeseen circumstances like traffic. Rest assured, regardless of the exact start time, your dog's walk duration will always be fulfilled as promised.
-
Absolutely! I offer ad-hoc walks as per availability and am always happy to accommodate such requests.

I typically walk dogs on a lead unless I receive written permission from you to let them off. Off-lead walking allows your dog to move at their own pace, boosting their confidence and giving them the freedom to explore. But I understand that not all dogs are suitable for off-lead walks. On-lead walks are equally enjoyable and stimulating, as dogs can still engage in exploring their surroundings.
Please note: For the first four sessions, I always walk dogs on a lead to establish a trusting relationship. -
Yes, but with precautions. In extremely hot weather, particularly in summer, I only walk dogs in the cooler morning or evening hours to prevent heatstroke and protect their paws from hot pavements. This might lead to a temporary change in my business hours, but I'll always inform you about any such adjustments in advance.
